Foscott Parish

Foscott (also called Foxcote and Foscote) is a hamlet and is also a civil parish within Aylesbury Vale district in Buckinghamshire, England.

What the Foscott Parish Meeting Does

1 – Exists in small civil parishes As a more local form of democracy, and the most local level of government

2 – All registered local electors can attend and vote.

3 – No separate council body, it’s more like a local assembly.

4 – Discussing local issues.

5 – Representing community views, for example on planning proposals. While decisions made are not legally binding, they influence parish council actions
